"I've managed Serendipity for 19 years with my wonderful bosses leaving me to have fun for all of that time whilst they ran our sister store at Leyburn. Post Covid and Leyburn's closure left us flying the Serendipity Flag. And now, before retirement enters my thought space, we are going it well and truly alone.

My Mr and I live locally with our Beagle. Lee will pop in with coffee the odd days and takes me to and from the shop, but is now finding that he has other roles in and around the place to fulfil too... like running amok with a pricing gun!

As for me, I shall continue to serve all our customers as they always have been. Offering high quality gifts and cards at prices to suit all budgets and for all occasions; a bit of a chat; and putting the world to rights from the solace of Serendipity"
